Walked down here after spending time at the lighthouse, not too sure what to expect but wanting to just explore the area around the lighthouse. Black Rock Beach is a stunning and unexpected vision. It's almost like discovering something straight out of Game of Thrones. The beach is made up of jet black pebbles and this gives the area a really ominous feeling. Added to that is the incredible sound that the ocean makes as the waves come and go. Again, slightly eerie and could be quite unnerving if you were there by yourself. I have never experienced a beach quite like it.

This was a very cool place to visit, from the ocean to the rock pools and the landscape. It was very beautiful!

Great walk and view to this beach, water wasn’t as cold as I expected.
