This is actually a return walk either from Charlotte Pass - Guthega, or like what we did Guthega - Charlotte Pass. The walk is 18km, approx. 5 hours return. If you just want to do one way (9km, 3hr), make sure you organise a shuttle at the end of the walk. There’s no toilet or hiding places along the walk: toilets are only at Charlotte pass or guthega. The walk is moderate grade. Almost straight with minimum ascending. The views are worth the walk although can be monotonous and boring for 5 hours. Make sure to bring a wide brim hat, sunny and sunscreen. No shades along the way. There’s a parking nearby, check for the conditions. Also cafe at guthega. But none at...

Fabulous lookout on high elevation, looking towards the mountains with easy 40mins drive from jindabye. We had 360 degree view from the top lookout. The bottom lookout is around 20metre from the carpark which provides you with great view to mountain peaks. The top lookout is around 10 minutes walk up some steps, passing beautiful snow gum and wild flowers.

We went late Dec but still lucky to get some snow on top of the mountains.

We enjoyed the drive to this place due to beautiful scenery. This place is so quiet and not touristy. There are so many cars parking along the street.

There was a cafe with outdoor seating at nearby hotel selling...

Fabulous place, particularly if the weather is good. I’ve spent a late late night up with clear skies, and no moon to overpower the stars, and it is an awe-inspiring experience. After a decent amount of time for my eyes to adjust (over an hour, for me), I found that I could perceive an amazing amount of stuff just by starlight alone, mainly the Milky Way galaxy.

It is, of course, also fantastic as a daylight vantage point. Much to see, and it is extremely well signed.

Parking can be hard at busy times, but the experience is worth it.

Beware however, it can get AWFULLY cold. Dress appropriately and carry extra...

Absolutely mind blowing lookout. The tops of Mt Kosciusko, Mt Clarke, Mt Lee, Mt Carruthers, Mt Twynam and Mt Tate all side by side without any snow cover are amazing. Especially on a sunny Autumn day like today (Anzac Day 2024), this place is very special. The place is located a short stroll from the carpark with a few stairs. Our kids really enjoyed the place
