Beautiful part of the world that has been taken over by idiot P-platers. They speed, drive recklessly, leave a mess behind, drink way too much and have loud parties 'til all hours. Loved to death, too many people coming from down south to see our piece of paradise, place is like a carpark/ shopping centre some days, p-platers are a large hazard if the choice stands between a p-plater doing donuts or a shark, choose the shark as you have a better chance of survival, awesome surf spot though but the day the Noosa north shore ferry is stopped will be a good day...

A wonderful place for families to come to the beach. As long as you have a high clearance 4WD with recovery points and know your way around, DI is a great place to stay for the day and surf or go overnight at the camp grounds.
