This walk is tougher than the Arboretum describes it. The path is dirt with embedded rocks, nothing like what you find in the Arboretum. We didn’t find the end/viewing platform. Again Arboretum describes as 2.2k out and back. Felt further than that and did not make it to viewing platform. Still some good views from the trail.

A great walk with fine views over the lake. Visit the Botanic Gardens afterwards for coffee and a meal.
