Who said Canberra is boring?? (Capital City Day Trip 🇦🇺)

Taking a stroll through the Australian National University (ANU) campus always offers a sense of tranquility and vibrant energy. The expansive and green Acton campus feels like a meticulously maintained park, harmoniously blending with the surrounding Black Mountain Nature Reserve and Lake Burley Griffin. Sullivans Creek meanders through the grounds, adding a touch of natural fluidity to the landscape. ANU's commitment to the environment is evident in every corner of the campus. Ancient trees coexist peacefully with modern architecture, providing numerous outdoor spaces for students and faculty to relax and study. Whether you're taking a leisurely walk along University Avenue or enjoying a book on one of the many benches, you can always find a peaceful spot to call your own. The campus landscaping is exceptional and very well-maintained. In spring, the campus bursts with colorful flowers, while autumn paints the leaves in stunning golden hues. It's not just a place for learning; it's a breathtaking living space. Beyond its natural beauty, the ANU campus is also imbued with a strong academic atmosphere. You'll often see students discussing ideas on the lawns or engaging in group study sessions at the cafes. This open and collaborative environment is one of ANU's unique charms. Of course, as Australia's leading research university, ANU is constantly evolving and developing new facilities. The new building designs are modern and environmentally conscious, blending seamlessly with the surrounding natural environment. These new spaces provide students with more advanced learning and research facilities. In conclusion, the ANU campus environment is a significant asset. It's not only beautiful and pleasant but also an ideal place to inspire creativity, foster interaction, and offer spaces for relaxation. Studying and living here allows you to experience the perfect harmony between nature and academia. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Canberra, don't miss the chance to take a walk around the ANU campus.

Visited the university during a short stay in Canberra. Heard it was Australia's top university, so had to make a visit. Campus is located in the center of the city with access to the newly built tram that's within a walking distance. University is well maintained and quite modern building infrastructure. There are a number of shops located within the campus.

This organisation hosts a Professor Scott Henderson whom likes to take statements written by Nurses and people Training to gain qualification as factual information from a qualified person. One person Training wrote that I had breached conditions of a DVO and this Professor took it upon himself to then ensure I would never breach the conditions of that DVO which had long expired (some 5 years later past expiry of the order that I consented too). According to the professor this claim outside a court of law and untested must be truth so my emailing of a female politician was of most concern (not the home invasions and stalking committed by alcoholics paid to consume alcoholic substances via a system of mates-rates and the supply of food and milk).

I was housed in an area known for its violence because the person Training thought it best - I was unable to leave or access my tenancy due alcoholics consuming vast amounts of alcoholic substances before they would perform home invasions, threatening, and on occasion physical assault or attempted murder. Upon complaint to friends of an army reservist at ACATT I was sent to see this professor whom adorned his walls with B/W photos of his time in a CAST society where lbgtqi's were fixed, criminals were fixed, and the unwilling to arranged marriages were drugged to become more compliant.

The professor will refuse to watch video of domestic abuse, home invasion 1, gay-bashing, and home invasion 2 but will gladly accept another like minded professionals option that the content could only be described as 'harassment' even though considering what they claimed my state of mind was - would and could amount to attempted murder (if i didnt have a video camera they would of called it a delusion).

The professor when confronted with someone whom tells him that they will not be attending his delusion expressions may find that he will become upset and begin fabricating information. His fabrications have no limit as he will attempt to then conceal such fabrications from the person he fabricated a story about whist he uses the full extent of the law to make such claims - he will ask if your using the internet and if you do not want to be monitored for years then i would suggest that you answer No.

400k was paid after the domestic abuse and following 'gay-bashings' that this professor concealed from the records (after 5 years you would think he would of written something but it seems not to be).

Family members commit acts of abuse and/or that stand to gain wealth from his diagnosis will be sort out to confirm the professors fictional beliefs in-which he relays information in a manner as to achieve a non truthful statement (leading the person by questions that prompt a reply he can manipulate to his advantage - which is the same behaviour he exhibits when interviewing a person he doenst like of which is decided by his readings that lack any connotative ability to understand the content). After confronting the professor with allegation of time-wasting (5 years wroth without any information on any diagnosis) he will not make eye contact and his hearing will by magic be restored (he uses an excuse of hearing to sit within a persons personal space which is used to rush-hurry statements he can twist to become untruthful).

This professor should be avoided at any cost as others will not question the fabrications he writes and he is a willing person to committing medical neglect by ignoring serious personal health issues like abnormal ECG results and physical issues that can not be detected simply by looking at a person - along with the health and safety issues of an housing department and government that funded alcoholics $5000 to terrorise people whist using the excuse of 'im drunk'.

Asking ANU for a policy statement upon the treatment of persons within UNI housing as to compare with the video recorded treatment abetted by the professor over 5 years will result in no reply.

ANU, Friends and family of the professor work within the mass media as...

It's a beautiful campus and obviously a great research institution, however if you aren't an academic/in research or simply studying an undergraduate that isn't in a select few areas, then they have no concern for your learning experience. This is one of few unis that is incredibly stubborn and uncaring in regards to any real world experiences, issues or difficulties that you might go through in your life.

Even with the assistance of some departments such as Wellbeing, A&I and more, jumping through hoops and navigating the difficult landscape and culture ingrained within the faculties and teaching staff is almost impossible. It's clear that the university is tailored to rich or upper class people with minimal to no life difficulties or experiences, who complete a typical life cycle of graduate high school - go to uni full time and have parents fund your bills with a maximum 10 hour per week job/graduate uni - get a graduate job through nepotism OR continue on to your postgraduate studies/research.

They sacrifice job experience and employability for a focus solely on academia and a refusal to make any accommodations for anyone who might need to work to afford university and life in general (see their refusal to offer any classes past 5 or 6pm or remote classes/learning in general, with no alternative options for remote learning, extra credit to make up for having to be away or missing classes due to any personal/health/financial/safety/similar reasons, and responses to similar requests along the lines of "university and higher education is a privilege and should be prioritised and treated as such").

If you are an intelligent individual but not financially blessed or come from any sort of hardship or difficulty then I'd thoroughly recommend going to another university with comparable or better academic rankings but with a much more caring and flexible approach to their students, as opposed to seeing them as sources of funding as a research...
