Wonderful little quirky gem of a museum, sporting a wonderful collection of insects, specimens from all over the world, as well as some living lively local species. Disappointed to find the gates shut and a closed sign. Mixed reviews say permanently closed while others saying still open... opening hours say 10am open, got there at 10am to find a closed sign at the gate. Came back later just in case but it was still closed. Phone number disconnected, website link dead, no updates to hours on social media. Such a shame, my son and I were looking forward to...

A must visit if you’re in the area! Such a huge wonderful collection! It’s cash only for entry as well. It’s a family run business with wonderful knowledge of the collection, and great stories of some very interesting bugs!
