Great place to see birds and especially water birds. Lots of cormorants nesting and babies feeding at present, makes great bird watching to see all their behaviors. Sadly on our exit we found the owner of the tea gardens banging a load metal bin with a stick to frighten away the flying foxes that have decided to roost at the lagoons, we witnessed a lady in a pink shirt making the a terrible noise until the poor foxes started to move in away from their roost. She was so helpful, thoughtful and kept us informed of the special dietary menu choices that she arranged for us. Nothing was too much trouble. It made for a fabulous meal experience with family and friends. The setting is unique and tranquil. So beautiful to be out in nature but under shelter during the rain.
