The staff were friendly, but i was given misinformation via calling compared to whats on the website and google maps while organizing a 9th brithday party.
Their website is still in covid mode and seriously needs updating.
Not one could agree to their actual opening time. On talking to them on the phone, i was told there would be staff/ the DJ that can help with first-time skaters and they knew i was booking a large group of kids I showed up at the earliest time theyy told me it would be open and they where still closed for another 45 mins and helpp getting the food and cake in, oh that did not happen as i was assured that staff would give me a hand as all the kids where showing up in like half an hr frim their opening time and they where not even open at thee time on the website.. The website states that there are games during the alloted skate sessions, nope.
In turn the cake and the tables could not be delivered and set up befor guests arrived due to it not being open when i was told to show up .
No one helped any for the first time skaters to the point 1 of the gusets compleatly gave up even after trying roller skates and roller blades to find if one was easier than the other. Well that 9 yo had a horrible time all round, and the games that were supposed to be part of the 3 hr skate session did not even get a mention.
So at the end of the day it was a mad rush to set up the party tables as people arrived , there was no help from staff for beginners skaters and no party games to keep the kids amused that where part of the services.
Other than that, we were there for the skate rink with all that was mentioned above, but all we got was a skate rink.
Being the host, i could not be there for every child that could not skate well , being 1 person and in turn the birthday girl got preety much left to her own devices as she can skate but not fantastically but others where first timers and the support that was promised just did not happen in turn, me being the host spent the whole party trying to teach a hand full of 9 yos how to skate, solo.
Yeah , as a rink, it's ok, but all the hooplah on the website is untrue, and if you can't skate , you're going to have a horrible time.
We were there for the rink , not the arcade, so i can't rate any of the other attractions. 2 stars out of 5 if you're ever planning to have a kids' skate party. Its indoors in winter.
Bring lots of adults that can skate with you to step in where the...
Read moreLet us speak, not of joyous laughter or the carefree abandon of childhood, but of the grim reality that lurks behind brightly colored signage and false promises. Let us cast a harsh, unforgiving light upon "The Zone Fun Park," a place that, in its very name, commits a profound act of semantic deception. For there is no "fun" to be found within its dilapidated confines, no zone of true enjoyment. Instead, what one discovers is a meticulously curated landscape of disappointment, a meticulously engineered assault on one's patience, wallet, and very will to live. This is not a mere negative review; it is an exorcism of a truly traumatic experience, a 3,000-word screed against a commercial entity that has mastered the art of extracting maximum misery for minimum value.
Our pilgrimage to The Zone began, as all such ill-fated journeys do, with a flicker of hope. Promotional materials, slick with digital trickery, depicted vibrant rides, ecstatic children, and pristine environments. We envisioned a day of shared joy, a temporary escape from the mundane. The reality, however, began to unravel long before we even breached the crumbling façade of its entrance. The car park, a vast expanse of cracked asphalt, resembled a post-apocalyptic wasteland, choked with exhaust fumes and a chaotic disregard for anything resembling orderly parking. Every available space seemed to demand an act of vehicular contortion, a grim foreshadowing of the contortions our patience would soon undergo.
Then came the gauntlet of the ticket booth. Not a welcoming kiosk, but a fortified bunker manned by individuals whose expressions suggested they had long ago surrendered to the soul-crushing monotony of their existence. The queues stretched interminably, moving with the glacial speed of continental drift, each minute a slow erosion of our initial optimism. And the price! Oh, the price! A figure so exorbitant, so utterly detached from the reality of the experience it purported to offer, that it felt less like a transaction and more like a ransom demand. We paid, foolishly, blindly believing that such a steep tariff must surely guarantee a premium experience. How...
Read moreWe attended the Fun Park to play a round of Mini Golf. We were disappointed in the condition of the course. It was run down and not well maintained. The course was defined by a lack of water, unfilled sand bunkers and absence of shade. The course was clearly meant to have water amongst the course however there was no water was flowing. What water there is was stagnant and green. There were holes in the surface of the course that were overdue for replacement. There were weeds in the gardens that were about half a meter tall.
The course itself had no "Fun" elements that you would expect such as windmills etc. and the course didn't appear designed with clever angles and rebounds in mind. The course was uninspired and not challenging. It was also hot, we started at 10 am and it was already hot as there was no shade available.
The course had names for the holes that were often ironic such as "view from up here where you could view a maintenance yard. Overall the course is in desperate need of some maintenance (refilling of sand bunkers, removal of weeds etc.) In the long term it needs a overhaul...
