Eastside cafe — Restaurant in Victoria

Lovely little cafe, obviously originally a house, then perhaps a milk bar of soughts as there's a bin a post box and a phone booth out front. Service was good, they don't do a brewed wet chai which was disappointing, and there's no fuss about latte art...fine with me. The coffee was ok, not great... alittle bitter, dark around edges, so I wonder if it's running a touch slow. The front porch is lovely, room to move and plenty of parking out front. On the east side of Bendigo we popped into the Eastside café for lunch where we were greeted by Moira and her welcoming crew. Healthy salads and coffee was the order of the day for us, and the Eastside Café was able to accommodate. A surprise to us was the range of gift-ware also on sale. Friendly service, great salad and coffee what more could you ask for? At the Eastside Café you can dine inside or out, as well as takeaway. Eastside cafe, where high class greets Hi Vis. Well done...

A nice find outside of the CBD or suburban shopping area (it’s all on its own standing out from the homes that surround it.

I chose the veggie frittata with chutney which was very good indeed - did the trick to sustain me for the afternoon drive to Echuca for my Echuca Moama Market stall the next day (Sunday). Nice spot for outside dining too. Friendly &...
