The tidal pool was unique and super fun. Also free! Protected young swimmers from sharp rocks, surprise creatures, or large waves found in ocean swimming at Edithburgh. It was in a beautiful location and grass areas for relaxing and picnic-ing nearby. We stayed 3 hours. Left when the wind picked-up, and the tide began to come in. On a still, warm day, this is a wonderful way to relax, cool down and have fun.
-Please be aware - It has a cement wall that young kids like to run on and jump off - would recommend caution with this, the pool is only approx 0.9m deep and slippery in spots due to seaweed growth.

A beautiful place for some photos too. There’s ample enough parking. There are clean public toilets as well. This place is free of charge.
