The Location Cafe — Restaurant in Edithburgh

Can't really give any stars as I didn't even get to taste my coffee. Waited 30mins for for a takeaway almond latte and left in disgust. When I asked how far away my order was, I was rudely told they didn't have enough staff. Seeing as I was the only person waiting for a takeaway coffee, it should have taken priority. Everyone else has already ordered and seated, 1 min to make my coffee wouldn't have even been noticed. Except now, you have a very unhappy customer.

Edit: I order 2 to 3 coffees most days. Never in my life have I ever waited this long. Sorry, but it really is not good service. I also didn't make a fool of myself, after I asked where my coffee was and received nothing but rudeness, I said don't worry about it. Your arrogant response below is foolish and quit frankly embarrassing for your business. An offer for a refund would have sufficed and review would be removed. I tried to call your Cafe 3 times...

Arrived at the start of lunch, stood around for a few minutes like lost dogs waiting to be greeted. After asking for a table for 2 we were told we required a booking. Immediately after the girl turned away without so much as another word. Taken aback by the lack of service we persevered and ordered two take away coffees. After repeating our simple order a couple times (2 x double lattes with one sugar in each) we proceeded to stand in the dining room awkwardly. Got our coffees and immediately felt a burn on our hands as if these coffees had been conjured straight from the depths of hell. After waiting 10 minutes we took a sip and were very disappointed with our extremely hot, burnt, flat coffees. I've attached a photo of the film that formed on our coffees....

Went for dinner on Thursday b4 Easter and there was only one other table of people and we waited 45 minutes for our meal to arrive. The Pizza was ok but the scotch fillet was more like Rump. I wasn’t planning on going back but on being told at the hotel that the breakfast was good we gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back only to wait one hour for breakfast to arrive which was ‘ Big Breakfast’ and had One piece of bacon the toast wasn’t toasted the Chorizo sausage was cold the poached eggs were overcooked, cold and the service pretty much non existent. Pretty Disappointed given the reputation and the past meals we have had at this place under the previous owner. Won’t be going...
