A Jaw-Dropping Adventure Fitzroy Falls—where do I even start? Breathtaking doesn’t even come close, and trust me, photos just don’t do it justice. From the moment you hop in the car, you’re on an adventure, with every twist and turn of the road teasing you about what’s to come. It was my first time there, and let me tell you, the short walk to the falls is like unwrapping a present you didn’t know you needed. You’re strolling along, thinking, “This is nice,” and then BAM! Nature’s finest hits you in the face with a view so good it could knock your thongs off. The falls? Incredible. The spray from the water? Like Mother Nature giving you a friendly wake-up call. And the sound? That soothing roar that makes you feel small in the best way possible. This place has everything—a bit of an adventure, epic views, and the kind of beauty that makes you stop and just... be. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the best things in life aren’t found on screens—they’re out there waiting to be discovered. So if you haven’t been, what are you waiting for? Fitzroy Falls isn’t just a destination—it’s an experience. Pack a picnic, grab your mates, and get out there. You’ll thank yourself later! This keeps the playful tone from before but stays a little more polished. Let me know if you’d like any tweaks!

Fitzroy Falls Morton National Park is a place that is well worth your time if you are in the area heading along the Nowra Rd! The Falls was named after Sir Charles Fitzroy, the Governor of New South Wales in the 1850s... There is a great souvenir shop where you park your vehicle, and there is a small fee of $4 dollars before heading off to the spectacular views overlooking the Fitzroy Waterfall and Morton National Park... The Fitzroy Falls is only a short walk from the visitor centre with an easy boardwalk for people with a disability to view the magnificent waterfall where the water plunges over 80m to the valley below... There are two good hiking trails W Rim and E Rim, which follows the valley with amazing views of the waterfall and the bushland of Morton National Park... The Rim trails have log steps along the bush tracks, which it is not for everyone, unfortunately! Toilets facilities are available at the visitor centre.

Absolutely GORGEOUS 💚 Even though I have issues with walking (due to my worsening health /disabilities), the short hike that we did, truly was amazing, being able to appreciate the beauty of our natural wonders has always been a pleasure, and what an amazing day it was to experience it all on such the day of celebration, our day to appreciate ALL that we have, and what we've all achieved, but with Fitzroy Falls, it was almost mesmerising, especially when being able to learn about how our First Nation People were able to make the area their home, and treat it with all the respect that they have for this Great land of ours! A truly wonderful experience for all to have... And the multicultural attendance (on the day) is further proof of that 😍👍🏻🕉️

It was great view of water falls real big one ,also stairs set up well for children to adult but need supervision must . Many people were there 😀Toilet facilities are there as well you can park but no proper parking ground but spaces for many cars

One big thing I did not like that is the Nowra road then name of the road I think

After we finished at water falls viewing my husband started driving car towards Nowra then, Wollongong then Sydney but road was sooooooooo STEEP for long time so narrow road going down from up hill top to bottom and it was for long and scary because narrow and so empty one side other side rock same as Hythcote road I drove but this was worst reason it was sooooooooo long and 2 cars side by side not enough spaces . I was soooooo tense though my husband is good at driving thank god . Saw one side road closed, look like accident happened and After coming back home I have searched at Google "accident at Fitzroy Falls " from curious mind about that road . Then find out accident happened there two days ago 76 female was air lifted and 74 male from same car has been treated at hospital I think Bowral hospital and 25 years male from other car in uninjured took him for checking for breath test and others . What E shame . After seeing that road driver age I was having peace in mind those type of road is ok to drive if 76 years person could drive in that road then anyone are able to drive not scary

BUT HOPE GOVERNMENT OF AUSTRALIA OUR PRIME MINISTER COULD help boosting budget fund for those type of narrow road to make wide would have give us safe road to drive and save life as well keep safe us from...
