Lesmurdie Falls is an easy drive through the southern area of Perth hills and boasts some fantastic views of Perth City cbd, and out to the coastal areas!...on clear day with a good camera/binoculars you can see the Swan River, Kings Park, Crown Casino, WACCA and more! There are designated dirt walk trails, some elevated pathways and fenced lookouts, a few picnic tables and a toilet block. There are servailance cameras in operation in the sealed bitumen carpark with ample parking bays... however when we visited it was very busy with tourists and alot of vehicles were verge parking due to high volume of traffic. I'd suggest visiting once the winter rains have set in with ample fall of water. It's a gorgeous area to visit, bring a picnic, or just stroll and take in the amazing views from different vantage points...AND wear good footwear for bushwalking.😍

Even in November with a lack of recent rainfall, there was still a nice calm flow on the waterfall. We took the 1.2km treck from the top of the fall right down to the foot with our 2 kids (3 and 5y.o) and our dog midweek for a picnic lunch, and only saw 2 other people. The hike is fairly well maintained with some fantastic views of Perth CBD near the top, but definitely recommend the appropriate footwear due to being quite steep with loose dirt in some parts. For those a little less adventurous, or less confident with steep hikes, the lower carpark at Palm terrace is a prime option, leaving you only a short, reasonably flat walk right to the foot of the falls.

Loved this place, there is a small carpark at the low carpark and it’s an easy drive in with a car (we left our caravan at the caravan park). There is a wide range of hikes ranging from grade 3-4, they are awesome with some steep and rocky sections. The walk to the falls is stunning, the falls were magical. It’s a must do and it’s not far from Perth at all. “Jonique Life” If you find value in our reviews please consider following our social media outlets on Facebook and Instagram as we highlight magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

I saw some people in a disabled carpark leaving the park, so the park is good to visit for people for most people. I have a bit of trouble going up and down steps and slopes and I managed fairly well. I only went to the falls, we had an appointment later on so I didn't spend that much time there. There were plenty of steps and slopes which make it a bit difficult for me but I managed. The falls are not that far from the car park.

There are lots of concrete paths and steel rails to help.

The falls had a trickle if water going over, so it was not particularly awesome, there are some nice views of Perth, but I could not see the ocean.

Worth doing but not a must do...

Little walk for around 5 mins would take you to the fall. However, it’s not big fall. It’s walkable by kids as well, unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. This tourist attraction has multiple walking trails if you are one of do not mind walking up and down the hills. There are options for short and long hikes. Longer would probably takes all the way down the hill and climb back again. Sadly, I recommend to carry big water bottle as I could see any taps to refill. The toilets are wheelchair accessible at the entrance. Good place for view of Perth from hill. It’s one of my go to trails and love driving to and from the hill too. it’s refreshing and peaceful hearted...
