We could fill a book with all the love, appreciation and compliments for Evergreen. After seeing photos and following for years on social media, it was something we never dreamed of being a real possibility, let alone being a real place! But from the very first moment we stepped through those white stone and iron gates, into the peaceful sanctuary of Evergreen, an enchanted world that was just ours opened up.

Evergreen is full of European elegance, and belongs in a fairytale. In a time we can’t travel, it transported us and our guests into our own little world for an intimate and loving ceremony, in the most beautiful of landscapes.

Photos of Evergreen will show you how lovely and magical it is, but even they don’t truly illustrate the extent of just how stunning the venue is, it’s so much better in person. There are many obvious, as well as hidden spots, that will frame your day perfectly. But what the photos don’t show you, though they may hint at it, is the atmosphere within the garden. It may seem over the top, but it is honestly like you could do a dance over the threshold back and forth and feel the stress of the world melt away each time you enter. We drove from Brisbane to Evergreen a few days out from our wedding and I was having unnecessary dramas, and the whole time I felt so stressed and frustrated. But the moment we drove through those gates and saw John & Marina waving and smiling, the calming influence of them and Evergreen came over and I felt at peace and truly excited for our wedding, for one of the first times since Covid had forced us to postpone. It is such a surreal experience being at Evergreen, it is so magical, and was such a beautiful place for us and our guests to experience on the best day of our lives.

Having your wedding/event at Evergreen comes with one of the best blessings you could ask for, John & Marina. They are pure, beautiful and genuine souls doing all they can to make your day as special as it can be. Evergreen itself is a real testament for their love for their property, it shines through in all the work they put in and the way they speak about Evergreen and weddings held there. But it’s not only the love for their property and weddings that is really showcased in all they do, but more importantly, the couple getting married. From the moment we met Marina we just knew our wedding was safe in her hands, and that we wanted her warmth and care to not only be a part of our day, but for our loved ones to feel it as well.

I was told by my vendors on the morning of our wedding, that I was the calmest bride they had ever seen, and that was purely because I had so much trust and faith in everyone and especially in Marina & John. The day was out of my hands and in their most capable ones! How absolutely perfect the day went and how much love and joy was shared between us and our family, really illustrates just how magical any event can be and is in the best of hands at Evergreen.

Marina really took care of those fine details that I hadn’t even considered. She really does take care of everything and keeps you so well informed that you know exactly what to expect; from instructing everyone when to walk down the aisle so it’s timed and spaced perfectly; to bringing in the limo at the best time, to not interrupt the ceremony but is there for photos after. We had a few style pieces but with no clue where to put them but straight away Marina & John knew, even moving them during the day, so they were fully appreciated pre, during and after. They really have an amazing eye for detail.

Evergreen will have you still dreaming after you your wedding. I am already planning and brainstorming events to go back and see Marina & John and their beautiful gardens. They and Evergreen will forever hold a special place in our heart, so much so that we know we will be back, again and again! They took the time to listen to our vision, offered thoughtful suggestions, and helped us navigate each step with ease and grace.

On the day of our event, the venue was nothing short of magical. The golden light filtering through the trees at sunset, the soft scent of flowers in the air, and the comforting presence of nature made the entire experience feel sacred. It didn’t just host our celebration — it elevated it, surrounding us and our guests with a quiet beauty that made everyone pause and feel the moment deeply.

We received endless compliments from our guests, many of whom said it was the most stunning venue they had ever seen. If you are after a fairytale-esque and intimate venue for your wedding, Evergreen Garden is the perfect place for you! Even without styling, the venue itself is simply stunning, and the gardens are always beautifully kept and tastefully decorated. We had the Diamond Package, and apart from the Reception styling, floral works, we used all the suppliers part of the package and we loved every single one of them! Shauna was the most wonderful and warm celebrant and wedding coordinator, there was a lovely and attentive catering support all day, and everyone raved about the delicious food Malcolm provided!

Even more amazing than the venue itself are Marina and John! Marina and John have been completely professional and the most wonderful people to work with from our first enquiry up until the end of our wedding. Marina's attention to detail and experience with weddings meant that she could offer us great advice on the smallest details (but important!) we would have never thought of ourselves. John was amazing in helping our day progress so smoothly - from coordinating Ceremony and Reception music, seamlessly transforming our Ceremony area into a Reception to helping us pack everything into our Wedding Transport at the end of the evening, John made everything happen without us having to stress one bit! On top of their professionalism, we have especially loved how Marina and John made us feel unique and valued every step of the way rather than "just another customer". We have truly loved having our special day at Evergreen Garden, and have loved working with Marina and John even more!
