Caboolture historical village this is a very high standard attraction easily international standard, village buildings are arranged as if this was a village or small town, some buildings furnished as if it was 100 years ago, but all of the shops or houses are completed inside of that period they were in use. You can also ride on a train around some of the village, and have devonshire tea. Would have been good to have that tea at the boiling billy cafe which is an old tea room building we were told this is the plan in the near future, at the moment the Red hall cafe at the enterence is the place to go for that, we had some sandwiches and hot chips, the chips I had were the best I have tested a long time, well worth trying when you come, we were there on a Friday and because this is mostly volunteers the cooks can do different days. At the village not only buidings but also Vehicles, Tractors, Trucks, Horse drawn implements, Aviation Museum, Maritime Museum, 11th light horse military Museum. This village is definitely worth a visit...

Thank you Kym we wish you...
Read moreWe were at Caboolture Historical village for Australia Day and although it was very hot we had an enjoyable day with lots to see. The Grand Parade was worth watching with the Redcliffe Pipe Band leading, lots of old vehicles and members of the Light Horse Brigade on foot and mounted. Sausage sizzle at $3.50 was too dear. It would have been good to have water stations around the village on...
