This hike was awesome!! It was a 10k round trip from the bottom of Waterfall gully Rd. Was cool to see several mountain bikers. So many beautiful trees, bushes and wild flowers. We saw at least 10 koalas in trees and on the last 5k we came close to lots of kangaroos as it was getting dark. We used our flashlight getting back via the narrow path with a steep drop down one side but I was kind of glad it was dark at that point so I could see how far up we were. Chambers Gully felt like Everest for the unfit, Kangaroos just watched me suffer, and didn't help me at all, One hill nearly ended me. The views were stunning, better than Mt lofty — I caught a small glimpse right before I saw my life flash before my eyes.
Would recommend. Just not with people who enjoy cardio.
