This hike was awesome!! It was a 10k round trip from the bottom of Waterfall gully Rd. Was cool to see several mountain bikers. So many beautiful trees, bushes and wild flowers. We saw at least 10 koalas in trees and on the last 5k we came close to lots of kangaroos as it was getting dark. We used our flashlight getting back via the narrow path with a steep drop down one side but I was kind of glad it was dark at that point so I could see how far up we were. The sights of the city was nice and the sunset was stunning! Was the perfect time of day to go - about an hour before sunset. Next time I’d like to go in the early morning.

“Dragged up a hill by mountain goats.” Me in my 40s (also me, very hungover), other three in their 30s, and two of them are basically fitness influencers in disguise. What I was told was a 5km walk became 10km 😐😰 Chambers Gully felt like Everest for the unfit, Kangaroos just watched me suffer, and didn't help me at all, One hill nearly ended me. The views were stunning, better than Mt lofty — I caught a small glimpse right before I saw my life flash before my eyes. Would recommend. Just not with people who enjoy cardio. I would have taken more pictures but my phone - like me was about to die.

This is interesting. You see, they added a lot of fill, and there have been rock slides, land slides, flooding and all sorts. You would think that with this claim of 200 oz per ton you would have a bit more info on it. Easy enough to spot the quartz out crops, lots of evidence of old mine works still around witg old railway tracks, pipes, cart wheels and stuff in the creek.

went for a walk first week of January 2017, shocked to see people walking their dogs unleashed through the park while koalas are using the human path to reach their feeding trees with great difficulties as thick Mulberry prickly bushes are invading the forest. Walking up the steep side through lovely flowers overlooking the city of Adelaide, but going down on the other side, I was saddened by the invasion of mulberry bushes, who is going to pull the roots out for the natural...
