Warning: Cyclists should NOT ride up or down from Chambers Gully Carpark!! Google Maps may suggest this as a bike route, but it is actually a very dangerous walking trail in Cleland National Park. The path is extremely rough and uneven, with many loose rocks and tree roots. If you must cycle, the route from Pengana Parking is a much safer and more suitable option. Hikers should also watch their footing carefully. That being said, the view from the top is absolutely stunning, offering panoramic views of the entire Adelaide city. You might even spot a...

Great Lookout view of Adelaide CBD, coastal areas from Glenelg to northern suburbs. It can get very windy on the top of the hill. Well-marked trails and a moderate hike from Winter Track to the lookout at the top. Can also be accessed from Chamber's Gully, though this is a very narrow trail to come up (or go down) from. Be wary of snakes lying around on the paths, as they like to sun themselves a bit to get warm before moving on. Brown snakes have been sighted in the area. Lots of roos, wallabies, skinks butterflies, insects, and...

Very interesting place. We had a night hike and it took about 40 mins to get to the top and 30 mins to get down. There were plenty of kangaroos on the top of the mountain and they were not afraid of people at all (don’t get too close or they will be scared). The night view of the city was amazing but MUST BE CAREFUL AND WEAR APPROPRIATE SHOES as the road will be quite slippy at night. You can park at 67 Waterfall Gully Rd and then...
