Gundagai Gaol — Attraction in Gundagai

Wonderful old historic Gaol and homestead. The local tourist information centre hires the key with a headset so you can listen to the history of the town, Gaol and it’s prisoners as you walk around the gaol. No need for a guide as this is a self guided tour. Captain Moonlight was kept a prisoner for a short period here after his capture at Wantabadgery before being sentenced elsewhere and is now buried at the nearby North Gundagai cemetery.
