3 Stars for the Lovely Lady in the souvenir shop. But so disappointed with the attitude and service of the young girl with long dark hair. We were greated with a look of oh no,there going to want food & we close in one hour. Followed by the rolling of the eyes when asked about an item on the menus. Not a smile in sight the whole time. The meal was very average & coffee served with thumbs holding the rim of the cup & just warm. I spent $100 on food & souvenirs, money next time I'll spend elsewhere, I won't be back. It was 38deg C when we visited and we are not quite sure when in life we could get back here.
Couldn't choose weather as Hay was our stop over during our trip to Adelaide.
If you can't pick weather, atleast pick the shearing show timing. The guy doing the show is so pationate that he takes you into that space if you are paying attention.
There is a good restaurant here but we reached there in closing time.
The museum is really good. If you didn't pay attention to the guy in shearing show, relax here in air-conditioning and watch it on tv.
Gift shop is good...

We bought some excellent souvenirs, the gift shop had some really good Australiana merchandise. The same lady at the front checked us out and wished us a safe trip! Highly recommend the stop here. We were able to park our car and caravan in an adjoining...
