Went for the Spring flowers and exceptional bushland. Recommend heading west. We went east first on the 2km loop which was good but the track is quite rough in places for older walkers. Pultanea in flower, arthropodiums getting close, keep an eye out for green hoods and mosquito orchids. Some abundant examples of Mt Lofty showy daisy, Olearia Grandiflora will be in bloom soon so will be back!

The former oval is now an open grassy area. Along the hilly sections it is a proper forest with mostly stringybark canopy, bracken and sedges understorey with native pine, wattle and shrubs in between.
