If you plan a morning visit to Westfield’s Whitfield Shopping Centre, or take in a movie there, bring a towel and your swimming gear. For there you can then catch a bus to the beach. Or go on a short drive to the beach to the nearest beach parking station, where there’s a lovely beach walk. It’s about 1:5 kms, going northwards between the Whitfords and Mullaloo Beaches. Then you can have lunch at the beaut Mullaloo Tavern. When you are ready, meander back through a line of long, high green strips alongside the beach that join up a few small parks. There are lots of gorgeous, high sea views along the coast, and heaps of beautiful Australian trees, flora and local birds to enjoy. Recommend.

Parking can be an issue but unlike Mullaloo where there is absolutely no overspill, you can always park on the sandy stretch north of the car park here. There are three main pathways onto Whitfords, all are paved and there's not too much of a hill down to the beach. Makes for packing a fully loaded trolley easy! There are no lifeguards but the swimming is always great. Go at low / mid tide for best swimming.

One of the best beaches, multiple entries along the coastline. Immaculate and not crazy busy. Can be very narrow in winter when water levels are high.

Absolutely beautiful beach with heaps of room and plenty of privacy, water fountains, toilets, showers and changing rooms where all clean and easy to find, parking was good and plenty of it along the beach, not much of a walk from the parking to the...
