Whitfords Beach — Attraction in Hillarys

If you plan a morning visit to Westfield’s Whitfield Shopping Centre, or take in a movie there, bring a towel and your swimming gear. For there you can then catch a bus to the beach. Or go on a short drive to the beach to the nearest beach parking station, where there’s a lovely beach walk. It’s about 1:5 kms, going northwards between the Whitfords and Mullaloo Beaches. Then you can have lunch at the beaut Mullaloo Tavern. When you are ready, meander back through a line of long, high green strips alongside the beach that join up a few small parks. Parking can be an issue but unlike Mullaloo where there is absolutely no overspill, you can always park on the sandy stretch north of the car park here. There are three main pathways onto Whitfords, all are paved and there's not too much of a hill down to the beach. Makes for packing a fully loaded trolley easy!
