Lake Brockman — Attraction in Hoffman

What more could you ask for on a wonderful summers day! The Lake was busy but filled with likewise people who just like us wanted to get in the water, soak up the sun, share a laugh and so on. We experienced some technical difficulties my boat once I had launched and found strangers offering to lend a hand. The posted boat ramp area situated near the cafe I thought was already very busy.... best in best dressed ofcourse so be there early or find your own little spot. "Beach launching" or what ever the term isn't relatively hard here. But people please don't forget this this is a fresh water dam. And we need to cherish and respect our environment. On our departure we also took home 2 big bags of left behind rubbish that wasn't ours..... if we want to enjoy these things in the future we need to maintain our areas. &...

This was our first trip to Lake Brockman, it certainly won't be our last. The Caravan Park was nestled amongst the trees, close to the Lake and dam. Our camp was a powered site with water, no drainage for water waste, but quiet and just gorgeous. I would imagine it would be sensational through summer. Good place for a walk around, picnic and relaxing. With or without family. Beautiful nature. Mix of green and blue. 1 hour 30 minutes driving...
