We have been to these falls a couple of times, mostly in the "wet season". This time there was no water at all and gave us the opportunity for a relative easy walk to the bottom of the falls without worrying of gettng wet. A great opportunity I might add. We started from the car park at the Rangers Office at Park Rd. From there we followed the Train Heritage walk Trail towards the Swan View Tunnel, which is very flat and easy to walk. It is just over 1km from the carpark and halfway to the tunnel. Keep in mind there are no dogs and/or pets allowed in John Forrest Nationa Park and Standard park entry fees apply. Very enjoyable!

After the rainy season, the waterfall is full and flowing beautifully, making this a peaceful and scenic spot that’s perfect for a stroll and connecting with nature. Walking along the trail, you’ll see many native Australian plants as well as a variety of unique shrubs and wildflowers. Wearing non-slip shoes is recommended. If you love plants or natural landscapes, this place is definitely worth a visit!

One of the many fantastic waterfalls in the Perth metropolitan area. An easy walk from the carpark at the top of Morrison Rd (intersection with Swan View Rd), and you get to walk through the train tunnel on the way as well. Lovely gorge/valley views on the walk as well. If you keep going (East), you move into the family / picnic area of the John Forest National Park

Eagle Trail is a fantastic hike through the John Forrest national park. Total length is 15km but there are various shortcut paths to reduce the distance. I walked it for the first time comfortably in 4 hours with a few breaks in the middle. The trail is well marked and maintained.

Come on a cool day, bring plenty of water and make sure you have good hiking shoes (and good knees!). The trail is a lot of up and down but it's not really very steep at any point. The wildlife both flora and fauna are beautiful and if you come at the right time (September) you will see the water and falls. Overall a wonderfully serene experience. I will...

It is seasonal waterfalls (I would recommend to visit in August, Sept, and early Oct). However, amazing view to the green valley. No facilities are there. However, it is only 1.2 km from the John Forrest picnic area where you can find car park and toilets. It is also 1.2 Km to the east of the fabulous Swan railway tunnel (350 m out of the service tunnel built in 1896). The lookout needs a well designed stage. Nonetheless, There is a small stage on the bottom on the waterfall, which is a weird location...
