Located in Mount Buffalo National Park, this stunning rock formation offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the surrounding landscape.
As you reach the lookout, you'll be greeted by the granite peak, resembling the horn of a buffalo. On a clear day, you can spot Mount Hotham, Mount Feathertop, and Mount Buller.
The lookout is accessible via a partly unsealed road, which is open during warmer months. Take the short but steep 1.5-kilometer hike up to the summit for even more spectacular views.
Enjoy the lookout during sunrise or sunset for a truly unforgettable experience but on a sunny day the views are no less to be stunning.
Bring a picnic and enjoy the scenic views from the comfort of the picnic area. In winter, access the lookout via a groomed cross-country ski trail or snowshoe your way to the top.

To fellow explorers and nature enthusiasts, I wholeheartedly recommend this gem for an...

Nice 360 views up the top.
The journey: the last bit of gravel road stretch made me poop my pants and I was silently encouraging my lil car to make it up. It was fine but a struggle.
Def worth the drive up Mt Buffalo, and I'm so...
