This 6 km return hike was so awesome. The best part honestly was going at this time of year (October we went) where the wild flowers were around, it created a beautiful atmosphere. It’s easy going down as you are just going down hill, it can be slippery in some sections from the sand on the rocks, the water at the end is stunning with the amazing colours of the rocks. I would suggest when you get down there go to the right and keep walking to see some extra scenery and formations. The walk up is steep as you go back the same way. It’s a moderate hike, would be suited for all who love to walk. Great trail to walk only one really hairy spot to climb at the rivers edge need to be flexible to cross but well worth the effort Good variety of terrain for walking and swimming

So pretty, very wet after recent rain, but well worth the wet feet. Trail follows a stream down into the gorge. Lovely spot for a picnic at the bottom.
