Gorge-ous walk down to the river where one can enjoy a refreshing swim.

You start on a relatively flat trail and quickly descend down the centre of the gorge toward the river. Lots of rock-stairs and even some well-maintained ladders to help with navigating the rocks.

I would say only attempt if you are quite mobile and don't mind some gentle climbing. Shaded for much of the day due to being in the gorge, but it can still get hot so bring plenty of water.

Possible to do it (out and back) in just over an hour, however rushing something so beautiful seems like a crime.

Easily my favourite little walk in the Kalbarri NP. Bring a good book and some snacks to enjoy down by the water's edge, plan to take your time...

The lake at the bottom was green with algae, so no swimming.

I too would encourage people to give it a go & see what a beautiful part of Australia & the world we live in.

Just a word of advice… take plenty of water, there is no water in the...

Throughly enjoyable hike and climbing. Starts off with a relatively flat track, builds up to some boulders and ladders. Kids might need some supervision but throughly enjoyable. Rewarded with a nice area by the stream. Totally worth the 15 bucks entry fee per car.

Don’t bring strollers or any bulky backpacks. Dot bother with walking sticks as you will be required to use your Hands at...
