Island Rock and Natural Bridge are located inĀ Kalbarri National ParkĀ as part of theĀ Coastal Cliff sites.

Island Rock was once part of the shoreline butĀ now stands as a solitary ā€˜sea stack’ having been impressively carved over time by the fracturing and decaying of the cliffs.

National Bridge, is a fully formed limestone rock "bridge" worn away by weather and waves although still attached to the coastline.

Only a short walk on well maintained pathways from the carpark, you can enjoy stunning coastal views from the safety of lookout enclosures which are accessible all year round (approx 2km return walk). Perfect spot for whale watching,Ā  plenty of dolphins here too. Plenty of parking with room for caravans too. Toilet facilities are again well maintained and have been designed to blend in with its surrounding...

We went there after we visited both the Nature's Window and the Pink Lake. Dropped down with few minutes detour from main road with clear directional sign. A natural features resembling the Apostles in great ocean road of Melbourne yet the bridge could only be seen from distance. Worth a stop whilst you got the time, short walk from parking space to get there, avoid goinv there...

We enjoyed making way to Natural Bridge Lookout on the Kalbarri Coast. It is very near the Island Rock Lookout and shares a small carpark. You can enjoy both in as little as 10-15 minutes or stay longer to admire the very nice seascapes, cliffs and do a bit of whale watching. Bring binoculars. We spotted quite a few on the late morning visit in Aug when...

Great Ocean scenery to glimpse on before heading further north to Kalbarri Park. You will see. The natural bridge formation formed from erosion of stones by seawater (similar to the one in Albany) Just be wary of the flies, they are voracious and wearing a net or constant dancing around would help, too! 😁
