Read moreThe high view from Lakes Entrance Lookout was absolutely gorgeous. Nice photos from the lookout for whole lakes entrance. The esplanade in lakes entrance also a nice place to have a walk during the day or arvo. Across the foot bridge access to hiking track to the flagstaff lookout will definitely a good choice to do it around sunset . But make sure you get yourself enough time to walk back to the footbridge or bring yourself a torch. There will be no light in the bush if you walk back after sunset. There will be a Ferris wheel close to the foot bridge at night time and nice photos can be taken there. Lots of jetty around can have fun fishing with kids . One thing need to be aware most of the restaurant will be closed at 8-830pm . Boat Hire will not be operate during windy day for safety issue , so make sure you check the weather forecast when planning your journey if you want hire a boat with kids or family . Read moreIt’s an absolutely stunning place to witness with huge waves crashing over the rocks, lookout platforms and dozens of waterbirds including Australian Pelicans, Cormorants, Pacific Gulls, Eurasian Coots and more. I was also lucky enough to see a couple of dolphins diving out of the channel in front of me.
