Chris our guide was extremely knowledgeable as he guided us through the national park, discussing plants and their usage. We had a taste of some native foods and learnt the medicinal uses. The Waringarri Aboriginal Arts centre is growing and new mediums are being discovered, textiles, pottery as well as the traditional paintings. We ended with Chris singing to us and his nephew playing the didgeridoo. We sampled damper and honey. We met the local bower bird who nests nearby. Sitting under the trees listening was magical. Reflecting back on our time with Chris who is very passionate about the centre and its history, I hope more people experience this amazing tour!

By far the best way to experience a Kimberley sunset is listening to the sound of the Didg and Ted share some stories from times gone by. Highly recommend!! Thank you Ted, Pete & Lisle for a fantastic afternoon!

This is an Aboriginal owned and operated gallery and art centre. 55% of each sale goes to the local artist. Much of the local art is still done in ochre. Great place.

Fabulous tour and art gallery! Ted and Duane were very generous in sharing their knowledge of country, uses and tasting of local flora and giving us background in local history. The most valuable part of the tour for me was being able to sit down and having a honest yarn with the guys with a delicious morning tea. Tours like this are invaluable in sharing knowledge and a more balanced view of local history. The art work was stunning but as usual it seems like a non indigeonous person was managing the centre and this seems to...

Art centre tour was excellent. Chris our guide explained the history and introduced us to the artists who described their work. It was an honour and privilege to listen to the stories. So much talent and great work in keeping culture, art, stories, song and language alive. Meeting elder Ben Ward and hearing his achievements was truly special and seeing the next generation on their journey....
