This is a good park for toddlers, not just bigger kids! If you're like me and get scared senseless by your little accident prone human trying to kamikaze off high ledges, then i can tell you that there is only one place i could find in this park that you had to be overly careful with. I can look after my kido by myself here, instead of having several heartattacks if i don't have a second person to help out catching my tiny sky diver. It's also clean and is pretty calm during week days and with the botanical gardens just across the road, going for a picnic before hitting the playground is really nice this...
Read moreWe stopped here on out way to Melbourne from the Grampians. Out two and a half years old toddler really liked the place. It's a big wooden themed playground. There's plenty of parking in the area and a public toilets near by. There is a special wheelchair swing in this playground that is protected with a wooden fence right by the playground itself. If you have extra time you can go wonder around in the botanical gardens of Ballart or catch a ride on the historical trams that go around the park. Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice stop on your long drive or even come and spend a day....
Read moreIt's a gorgeous little playground, however, to be a grouch and very picky, it's not fenced off, which is dangerous as it's near ponds and lakes, and although the playground is great, with lots of little elements and adventurous parts for the kids, it's easy to lose site of them, not a fan of big stocky wooden playgrounds that you can't see over the other side of, thick woods slats, a little unsafe, parents really need to be on high alert at all times, you really have to follow your kids around if you want to get a visual of them at all times, or if you don't want them abducted or running...
