The Park Hotel Ballarat — Restaurant in Victoria

We had not been to The Park Hotel Bistro for a meal in over 5 years, but were invited to lunch with relatives.

We were greeted with a warm welcome as soon as we arrived and were seated immediately by a member of the front of house team.

There were diners seated at almost every table in the main dining room, which is not often the case at lunchtime mid week.

We purchased our drinks at the bar, where we also received prompt, excellent service with a smile.

Each of us ordered a different meal from the menu. Even though it was busy, our meals arrived promptly & basically at the same time.

We were all happy with the size of our meal. They were visually appealing, enjoyable & reasonably priced.

This was a spontaneous choice for a dinner date tonight and I am so glad we came here! It was very busy but they kindly organised a table for us within about 5 minutes while we grabbed a drink. We ordered the steak- very reasonably priced at $29. It was cooked to perfection (medium rare) and was a generous meal. I celebrated my birthday tonight at the Park Hotel for the the second year in a row with a few family members and the staff made my night extra special. This has definitely become my new go to for a great night out. Thank you. If I do suggest one small improvement, we had 2 diabetics in our small group and it would have been nice if they could have enjoyed a drink other then Coke or Pepsi, like a carb free beer or something, and, a desert without sugar, would have made our...
