Such a lovely place to visit, see koalas up close, learn about their natural history, what threatens their survival, and how you can help their conservation. The reason I chose this place over other koala centers is that this one does not allow visitors to hold koalas. You are still very close to the koalas, a meter apart from them with no barrier in between. Despite what the other koala parks tell you, handling koalas is stressful to them. While I would LOVE to hold a koala, it's not in a koala's best interest, and any center that tells you that it's fine is lying to make money. If you really care about Koalas, chose this place! Daisy Hill Conservation Park is also a great place to learn about other Australian wildlife. There's a large park with grills for family and friend gatherings and several nature paths and interpretive panels. During my walk through the native Australian eucalyptus forests, I saw kookaburras, butcher birds, rainbow lorakeets, a wallaby, skinks, tawny frogmoths, and of course several native plant species. Daisy Hill Conservation Park was a highlight of my two-day trip to Brisbane and very much worth the visit. I highly recommend!!

I had the most amazing experience at the Daisy Hill Koala Sanctuary! 🐨 This place is a true gem, and I can't recommend it enough. The opportunity to get up close and personal with these adorable koalas is something I'll cherish forever. The staff here are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife conservation, and it shows in the way they care for these beautiful creatures. The sanctuary itself is well-maintained, and the natural surroundings make it a serene and peaceful place to visit. It's not just about koalas; there are so many other fascinating Australian animals to see and learn about. Whether you're a local looking for a fun day out or a tourist wanting to experience Australia's unique wildlife, Daisy Hill Koala Sanctuary is a must-visit. It's educational, heartwarming, and a great way to support the conservation efforts for these iconic animals. I'll definitely be coming back with friends and family. A big thank you to everyone at Daisy Hill for the fantastic work you do! 🌿🐨❤️

I think this is actually a sweet little park. It’s a bit of a hike for us to get to but there were many nice park areas where people were frying up breakfast and getting right into the outdoor vibe. The park area is big enough not to feel crowded in and there is plenty of space for kids and adults to run about. The public park area is surrounded by tall trees and typical Australian bush land. Eucalyptus trees abound and there seems to be some fallen trees that might need to be tidied in general but the place just looks natural and does not feel neglected or unkept. The koala park is free and it was nice to be able to walk through and listen to a free talk just to get to know koalas a bit better and to watch them sleeping. From memory there were about 4 koalas on show and you could not touch any of them but they were still cute to watch. I think this is a nice venue that is simple but well intended. If also has a lovely walking trail that looked cared for, safe and clean.

What a hidden gem that we found! Thanks to a suggestion post from Bubs and Review on Facebook, we were looking for a day where we were out in nature on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. A mere half an hour from the Redlands, we also took a drive through the suburbs instead of the highway. There are plenty of carpark if you kept driving along. It goes in a full circle one way. There were atleast 8 carparking areas. The koala sanctuary was great especially the delight of our kiddo. We manage to see 4 of these furry beauties sleeping . There were loads of information about koala and it was sad to know many maaany years there were nearly extinct due to the use of their fur! The walking tracks were great. It was such a well kept sanctuary. Many families were having gatherings and BBQ with the many facilities available including several wood fire ones! Plenty of bathrooms as well. As many has mention, it would have been great to have a tap and donate spot.

I absolutely love this place! First, this is a great place to ride your mountain bike. Saw a lot of people drive here and ride their bike. I just visited here for the first time and regret never bringing my bike here. Second, I get to see the koala! Been visiting a lot of parks where they said you can see the koala but never have the luck until here. Never seen a koala in my life, so yeah, I get excited. Third, a good place for a picnic. There is some picnic area where you can have BBQ here. And yeah will definitely visit again with my bike and some food with my friends and loved ones. Fourth, it is a dog friendly park. Yeah I love dogs and it's good to see all the dogs running around here. Fifth, a good place for jogging. So many good things happened in a place, who doesn't give 5 stars.

The center is great, even for little toddlers. Lots of things to keep them busy and even a koala "hospital" where they tend to injured toy koalas. Lots of displays and hands on activaies (indoor cinema too - docos playing back to back). There are daily koala demonstrations, feedings and talks regarding all things Koala. Within the conservation park you find vast trails network, picnic tables and benches, BBQs and plenty of artworks and info boards. Surrounded by dense eucalypt forest, yet there is ample parking and open areas for ball games. The area is well maintained, tidy and clean. Dog friendly but only on a leash. So far, everytime time we visit, without fail, we see wallabies roaming the open areas and sometimes even the wild Koalas in the trees.
