I’ve just seen that someone wrote “hidden gem” and they are absolutely correct. There are hundreds of wines around here and if you need an excuse to make this one of your “must sees” I’ll give it to you. The wine is magnificent. The Blackmore Range is out of this world. We just did a Penfold Grange tour and the Shiraz and Cab Sav is a major rival to what we had there. I have not had a Cab Sav anywhere near comparable in the Barossa, The Vale or Hills. It is a rare thing to think that paying the price for the top wine in a vineyard is not a pull on the purse strings. We easily bought what is to be the first of many from this vineyard. Sam, you are worth your weight in gold for your personable amiable delivery and we hope to see you again soon. The development of the cellar, the distillery and the grounds is something we look forward to seeing and be a part of. Not to be dismissed are their more “drink now” range of Rose and Chardonnay, their younger reds are a great price and smooth as silk. We look forward to being a part of your journey x ps. The grounds are so romantically beautiful !!!

This was our first time doing a wine tasting at Cimicky, and I was pleasantly surprised! The venue itself is charming, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel welcome from the start. Although I’m not usually a fan of wine, I found that the Cimicky wines suited my palate perfectly. The knowledgeable staff provided great insights about each wine, enhancing our experience. We particularly enjoyed the delicious cheese pairings, which complemented the wines beautifully. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore new flavors in a lovely setting!

A must visit in the Barossa! Cellar door has only been open a few weeks but certainly worth an hour or so! Stunning grounds and fantastic wines. Fronted by the cellar door host Sam, whose quick wit and fantastic craic make a visit to Cimicky a highlight of our trip. The Whites and Rose are very approachable however the real standout is the red wine. The Blackmoor range is worth the few dollars to try and is one of the best I have found. Sam rates the Blackmoor Shiraz highly and he is not wrong however for me the Blackmoor Cab Sav is sublime. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. Can’t wait to go back!

By happenstance we happened to choose to go to Cimiky and we were absolutely blown away.

The grounds themselves are like something out of a story book and Sam is the most personable and welcoming wine expert I have ever met. Normally places like this make me feel a bit stuffy, but he and Kate made us laugh and made us feel like old friends.

The little tour through the winery followed by some of the best red wines I’ve ever had made the experience amazing. This is the hidden gem of the Barossa and is hands down the best winery I’ve been to.

Do yourselves a favour and get down there, this place is going...
