Played as a single in a cart, 2pm tee off on a Friday. Layout is tough, rough was long. Fairways were in decent condition and scenery is great. Sadly that is where the positives end. Greens were very slow and full of unrepaired pitch marks, and many bunkers were unraked. The carts GPS must’ve been mis calibrated because it kept telling me to stay on the path…when I was on the path. Twice I had to push the cart into another area after it told me to reverse out…when in middle of the fairway!! Pace of play was slow on front 9. I was pleased when several groups in front finished after 9. I quickly caught the “group” in front who was a single junior (with a non-playing guardian) playing 3 balls!! After waiting 2 holes without being waived through I gave up and turned around. Staff were understanding and apologetic but overall a very disappointing experience, particularly given the price.

Great resort location, facilities, bar and resort staff are helpful and friendly, but the studio beds ruin any star rating deserved. On two consecutive stays I ve had a missing leg on king bed making the bed sag in the middle. Luckily only one leg missing each time and the teabox that is in the room just happens to be the right height and sturdy enough to get through the night with reception closed and no maintenance to attend to it late in the evening. However, none of this really should be a substitute and no one should expect beds to have a missing leg. Overnight paid accommodation should at the very least have functional beds otherwise what's the point? And btw second time no compensation was given whereas the first time it was which is forgiveable but second time is not acceptable!

I really enjoyed playing this very challenging links style golf course. The fairways were in fantastic condition, as were the greens and the deep bunkers. (best to avoid the later if you can) The course also had a number of sandy waste areas, which would be best to avoid. The greens rolled very true and were resonabily quick, even allowing for a recent dusting that was applied. The practice facilities consisted of a putting green, a chipping / bunker practice area, and a warm-up driving range that was suitable short irons only. (135m) The pro shop staff were very friendly and professional, and the shop had a large range of golfing equipment / apparel accessories. I look forward to playing this golf course again in the future.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club, and I am compelled to share my dissatisfaction. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that the staff lacked the basic understanding of customer service and respect for all patrons. I was met with discrimination that left me shocked and disappointed. They were discriminating against my mother in laws attire, when we witnessed another group with completely different attitude. They were not wearing collared shirts but they made her buy a really ugly plastic one, like tshirt for $55!! They were also offered an additional cart for these ‘ladies’ who were not playing and were simply accompanying other two players, the same as us. When we asked for an additional cart which we were willing to pay for, he declined and lied. Absolute discrimination.

Not only did I witness discriminatory behavior towards fellow customers, but I also personally experienced inadequate treatment. The staff seemed disinterested in assisting me and went out of their way to make me feel unwelcome. It's disheartening to see a place that is supposed to be a leisure retreat perpetuate such an unhealthy and unwelcoming atmosphere.

I strongly advise anyone considering visiting Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club to think twice. It's disheartening to see an establishment with potential fail so miserably in providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all. My visit was a regrettable experience, and I sincerely hope that management takes immediate action to rectify these issues and create a more inclusive and respectful atmosphere for...

The staff at the Pro Shop are really nice and extremely helpful. Nothing seems to be a problem. I love it when staff treat you personally, not like their just doing a job almost robotic. Making conversation, helpful beyond belief. Thanks again guys! So here's what happened. I am on holidays with my four very small dogs, but not your normal kind of holiday, we are cycling! The trike has a trailer and all our camping gear onboard and is quite heavy (around 160 kg. Close to 240 kg with me on as well) so it is electrically assisted. I was on route from Niagara Park to Summerland Point when my power was low due to too many hills. I saw the Golf Course and a few electrically powered golf carts (actually they have heaps in what seemed fantastic condition), so I decided to hopefully find some power. I definitely wasn't attired like everyone else and was kind of expecting to be refused or snobbed off (so I should apologize for my prejudgment), but the were instantly nice and extremely extremely helpful. Club members walked up to me while I waited for the battery to recharge starting conversations. It was a totally pleasant experience. After helping me with some electricity, the staff were very helpful with directions to my...

So we just had three nights at this establishment, after reading the reviews on line I was definitely lowering my expectations. But what we found was a beautiful resort, in beautiful surrounds with everything that could be required from a holiday maker.. There was tennis courts, there was a couple of different pool areas, there was room for kids to play, there was playgrounds., There was a big reception area that also had a bar cafe and a restaurant.. Together with a spa, an indoor pool and a gym as well.. Despite other people’s review, we found everything to be spotless and clean and the staff to be exceptionally friendly. We chose a villa because there was only two of us and we did not need a two or three bedroom.. The villa was very spacious with a large bathroom and a small kitchenette area, that had a microwave, a toaster, a coffee machine, A kettle, and crockery and cutlery and glassware that you would require on a holiday. You’d also had a very large king size bed and a massive TV that had about 600 channels on it. We had a lovely balcony overlooking part of the pool and amazing gardens. It’s an easy walk to the beach and an easy drive to so many other places. It’s a fabulous spot.. Would...
