Great waterfall and easy access for people with knee injuries prams or wheelchairs you can only access the lower part of the waterfall with no problems at all as the ground is completely flat I did this and it was still amazing the sheer sound of the water coming down and spraying over you was lovely and looking up at from the viewing platform gives you an idea of just how tall it is. If you want to venture to the top you need to be able to stand steady on your feet and reasonably fit, no prams or wheelchair access here. My family did venture up whilst I waited at the bottom viewing platform to take photos for them. They said as there are no hand rails anywhere and there are stairs flat surfaces, uneven rock surfaces and narrow ledges you wouldn't be able to go up there unless you are steady on your feet They reported It's for any age group as long as your fitness is reasonable But even from my view it was beautiful but I love waterfalls. NOTE Parking is atrocious and very limited spaces and I mean limited so would recommend heading there while everyone is in town having lunch and then after head to the duck inn for a late lunch the food was yummy. But be aware the last orders to the kitchen close at 4pm. Really great day and experience P.s we also stopped at Bruno's sculptures which was well worth a visit especially if you're...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis waterfall is so easily accessible that it may give people an impression its not much of an attraction, but in reality, it is a beautiful multi-cascade waterfall. We plan to visit again in Spring and feel the magnificent spray of water and hear the water roar down the cascades. Should be a totally awesome feel and so totally worthy of a full 6 star. Access to the falls car park is a nice, easy pleasant drive from Marysville town centre. The car park requires a nominal parking fee which we duly paid, but we noticed lots of car owners did not pay. The parking fees goes towards the upkeep of the place so please pay the car parking fee and help keep the place clean and tidy. Once you are at the car park, the walk down to the viewing area is very well laid out and there are even lights along the pathway for those keen to venture out here at night. Lights go off at 11pm. The waterfall at the bottom is just simply magnificent and worth bringing your picnic lunch with you. It is just awesome standing back and feeling the awesomeness of the place and listen to the roar of the water cascading down the rocks. Note however, that sitting is limited. We loved this place and will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWonderful falls, with well laid out paths and bridges across the lower areas. Some longer walking tracks marked with estimated time for a return walk. Small parking lot, with wheelchair accessible parking. Beautiful crystal clear waters, public walking tracks that I used were very clean, hardly any rubbish. Small waterfalls near the car park, with water running cold and clear. Drinkable water as well. Public restrooms were clean also. The falls and main walking tracks are also lit with floodlights from dusk until 11pm, which is when the park is closed to the public. It's a lovely sight during the day, even more magical of an evening lit up. Note, you must buy a parking ticket, parking inspectors do patrol the area. Plus the one day you don't buy a ticket is the day you get pinged for it, so don't tempt fate. Something that made me smile was that people leaving the car park freely offered their already paid for tickets to those coming in or heading towards the machine to purchase one. It may be a small gesture, but it is one that I haven't seen done often in a while. I could also just not be visiting places where that behaviour...
