Keppel Lookout Trailhead — Attraction in Northern Victoria Region

I really enjoyed walking this trail! I was lucky to go on a lovely sunny day, although it was 35 degrees. Do note that the trail does has a lot of natural shade: I went on a hot day and I didn't find it unbearable.

The track itself is well kept and very easy to follow along. Each 'milestone' (e.g. the Keppel trail lookout) has a map that clearly indicates where you are, where you're heading and how far you've walked which I found super handy as I did this walk solo and without any phone reception.

The signs say it's a 3-4 hour walk: it took me just over 2 hours at a leisurely pace with plenty of stops for snacks and photos.

I will say do be sure to bring food and tonnes of water: you'll need it. As well as a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Do be mindful of snakes too: it's...

We took the 11.6 km trail "Keppell Lookout and Steavenson Falls Trail". I suggest you to do the hard part first. First one and half km will be hard. But once you reach the top, the journey will be much smooth. Few lookout points and specially the Steavenson Falls view was really nice. No need to go off road. Wear proper shoes. Big disappointment, falls are over crowded with rude people, the trail itself was disappointing, views were average at best, definitely won't be back, plenty of other great places with much more rewarding views at the end of the journey, if you're wondering if you should try this trail, I'd highly recommend just about any other hike in Victoria, don't waste your time with this...
