We had a lovely day in Mornington visiting Beleura House in the wonderful care of really committed, generous and tireless volunteers. The morning tea service was charming, as was the opportunity to enjoy a rare touch of elegance. The scones and cream were a little below-par, though, for the price. The house is more like a ramshackle holiday home than a stately remnant of a previous era - very questionable taste in ceiling murals, and somewhat cluttered and overflowing with tired decor from too many periods. Morning tea and lunch were great. Recommend...
