We had to pay $10 per adult and $5 per kid for entry. There are no water facility where you can wash the cherries before consuming upon entry. I asked the lady at the entrance whether we can bring the cherries out so that we can wash them before consuming. She told me that if we took the cherries out, we need to pay for them. I told her my worry and she told me that the cherries are, in her words, ''fairly clean and require no washing''. I believed her and ate the cherries before washing. At night time, to my horror, i had stomachache and diarrhoea. You think of all the possibilities and its all pointing to the cherries that we ate. This happened to me, my husband and mother. I was in misery for about 10 days!!! Luckily my daughter was spared as she doesnt know how to spit out the seed of the cherry thus we didn't let her eat any. I had to bring my 5 month old baby with me and there is no place where we can change our baby nappy apart from the ground. We had to change our baby nappy at the back of our car. For those who are visiting, please consider my points and DO WASH...

Beautiful cherries but a bit pricey since you have to pay $19 per adult, and then you have to pay $16 per kilo, so it's not the cheapest day out. I know they'd be making a tonne of money just on the entrance fees alone. You'd think they'd reduce the cost just to get in. Also, the directions to the main entrance are totally off. It sends you on a wgc (wild goose chase) down a windy road, and you end up at the bottom gate leading into the vineyard. A very confusing set of directions and in need of upgrading. It's also not worth booking in advance online as you still have to stand in a huge queue, and it only changes once you hit the caravan where you have to pay to get in. Put a queue at the beginning one for each with a rope separating them and proper signage, too. This whole place is a tourist hotspot, and they rake in the entrance and price per kilo fees. They'd be making an absolute fortune in summer. I'd rather go to a small producer who is grateful for...

Blue Hills Berries & Cherries offers a delightful day out for fruit lovers and families alike. We recently visited to pick cherries, and it was such a fun and rewarding experience. The orchard is well-maintained, and the cherries were fresh, juicy, and abundant. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing clear instructions on where to pick and ensuring the experience was enjoyable. The setting is beautiful, with scenic views that add to the charm of the visit. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that it can get a bit crowded during peak times, which might make it harder to find the best spots. However, it’s still a wonderful activity, and we’d definitely return for more fresh fruit and a lovely day outdoors!

Just an hour drive from the Melbourne. Good place to visit for Cherry picking. Sections of good variety of sweet as well as mild sweet cherry to pick. Decent size plantations with matured trees. There is a water catchment on the edge of the estate. The shop where you can buy cherry is a bit away from the picking spot. Check out the map location in advance for clarity. Tickets price are reasonable. Ample parking near the entrance. Make sure you purchase tickets online to avoid disappointment. Toilets available. Food truck and a small sheltered area in house. People with pram can take it but small wheel diameter will struggle. Make sure to check out the fairy garden for kids. Bonus, the scenic drive to Silvan is very soothing.

Had a fantastic time at U-Pick Cherries! The staff were incredibly helpful and made the whole experience enjoyable. Parking was a breeze, and there were so many cherries on the trees – it felt like an endless supply! The food truck is a nice touch and facilities were good. Could do with more shaded seating though to get out of the sun. Don’t really recommend bringing a pram as the ground is uneven which is to be expected. Price wise, entry was less than others we compared it to and booking online was simple. Definitely recommend for a fun, enjoyable outing.
