Very good walking and running trails through beautiful bushland, gas BBQs, big grassed picnic areas which are big enough for several cricket matches, lots of parking, lots of wildlife to see including wombats, echidnas, wallaby the occasional fallow deer, and lots of eastern grey kangaroos. These are best seen on the grassy areas in the early morning and last hour of daylight as during the day they are usually bedded up in the bush. The negatives one word; litter. This is a take your rubbish home park. There are no bins. Please manage your litter it's not hard to bring a rubbish bag and drop it in your bin when you get home. Most people do the right thing but some throw there rubbish into the bush or I ignore it as it gets blown away....

Perfect day to spend the day with family and friends. Heaps of space to families to have their own private picknicks. But unfortunately I've seen some families leave their rubbish behind without putting it away. Children will go crazy for its' play area. Picnic area with tables, a small play area and what I think are the only toilets in the park - portaloos just off the parking lot. The sweep of parkland is pretty, and said to be good for watching kangaroos early in the morning or around dusk. I came in the morning too late to see them, but assume this is true because the grass is literally covered with...

This was once one of Melbourne's best kept secrets. The huge park alongside Cardinia Reservoir. Fortunately plenty of people know about it now. There is a great adventure playground and accessible toilets right next to the parking lot. There are large open fields for games and you'll see kangaroos grazing there especially in the evenings.

Good walks and plenty of space. You'll see parrots, kookaburras and we saw a deer. When we went it was just after a lot of rain so it was quite muddy. The toilets are portaloos at the moment.

It is a good place to come for a picnic and bring the family, despite some of the original barbecues have been removed.
