We tried the Glamping and dinner package which included an activity of your choice, morning buffet and private after hour pools. Went in August and it was crazy crowded and expensive, was it even worth it? Disclaimer: don’t be fooled by my photos, they’re purposely captured without any people so we can keep their privacy. Reality is different.

There’s way too many positive things I can say which I’ll touch on later, but there’s also some negative things such as: unable to sleep at night in the beautiful accommodation because it’s SO noisy! The insects, bugs, life around are very loud. They do provide ear plugs but those don’t block everything out.

There’s waaay too many people all waiting on the same pool, especially the one on the top. You have no place to put your bathrobe, people mistakenly took your bathroom cause they all look the same, white. Consequently, you had to wear someone else’s robe because you are way too far away to go to the counter and it’s so very cold. No choice but to be unhygienic and uncomfortable, unless you bring your own distinctive robe. Plus, you can lose track of where you took your slippers off, or same thing can happened with people took your slippers. Kind of feel like a can of anchovies in spring water.

If you have the extra money, go to the private pools, but if you want total privacy, you won’t get it, it’s a public pool after all (even when it’s in private zones). Unless you start your day super early the next day to watch the sunset but how? You didn’t sleep last night because of the noises.

Lack of storage lockers for belongings. Certain Bathrooms are dirty especially the one closer to the main entrance. No dry surfaces for your clean change of clothing. Simple solutions is to look into the design of them, eg add a taller shelf or hook above the main surface/ bench.

The activity included, we choose the clay one. It is just pretty basic, it was raining that day as well so had to cut it short but it was alright. People are self conscious a little. I’m sure there’s other more exciting activities such as: floating tanks, behind the scenes tour etc

dinner was mediocre. Don’t get me wrong, they’re not bad and on brand with health and wellness. But it doesn’t have to be this simple and plain considering the price we paid. People who enjoyed the pools will be starving and tired by the time dinner is served, so they don’t even care about the taste anyway, hence they can be mediocre. If dining isn’t your priority, you are fine. However, many foodies care. From a perspective of a foodie, it’s can have more flavours, more variety and more culturally diverse. Especially for the price we paid, there’s room for improvements.

Confusing parking for glampers and lack of direction. Unless you been there before, you will wonder where to park. There’s not enough parking for the public. As for the glampers, just go there more and you will learn. If possible: Consider better signs or directional email (I never received one).

For the good stuff that they do right: one of the best quality breakfast buffet we have ever tried! Local produce, healthy options, absolutely delicious. ambience: Stunning!! Absolutely beautiful. service: 11/10, the staff are amazing! They’re so flexible, tentative, friendly and knowledgeable. They care, and they are passionate about what that do. love the nature landscape, the work they put in to maintain the establishment. Kudos! 👏🏼 a space of calm, relaxation, and inspiration. The story behind this establishment! That humble start is simply admirable.

Consider adding private floating tanks guys, can thank me later 😉

One thing for sure is, try the Glamping package once, and you be the judge, you might have a different experience. There’s a still lot more to say about the pro and cons, so I can’t type it all out here. My full review along with videos and my experience is linked here if you’re keen to see:...

As a couple we decided to go for a small relaxing day trip getaway from the busting city.

Pre-arrival we had to contact pennisular to change our ticket for a friend due to a unfortunate event , the communication via their live chat is... AMAZING. I mean it is really not often that live chats are seamlessly easy to use and actually having a "proper" human responding. Eveything was well communicated and they would still give a back up call during the day of your conversation with the online agent.. I mean extra mile or what ?

The arrival / reception was a smooth process with egar and smiley reception staff explaining to us newbies about the hotspring etc. They do provide robes , towels & lockers for a cost & nothing unreasonable.

The changing rooms were clean - plenty of lockers & bench for our needs. Yes , if you are gonna go during the peak period or time , you would bound to have to wait to pop into the shower.

We finally entered to the mystical arena of the hot springs , it was as expected. We really liked the whole different options of hotspring pools to choose, tempreture , view, area etc. We had a great time exploring the place as well and our favourite pool which was the pool up on the cliff with the amazing view. Just take note that you'll need to queue up there as 50 ppl obviously can't fit inside the pool - once you experience the slight cool breeze while queuing... you would understand why they put the sign to be considerate to stay in the pool for a given amount of time ( no ; none of the staff shall nag you to leave the pool. You'll just understand once your there .. to be considerate)

I would highly suggest that if your wanting to take videos - photos etc , do it before you actually indulge yourself into a full relaxation without your phone. The experience was really awesome without the phone for a few hours and simply enjoying the moment in the pools.

Yes , there is a cafe - restaurant there and a spa area too. We didn't get to try these during this trip but hopefully next time.

We enjoyed the place so much that my husband had lost his wedding ring around the hotspring area. Yes we didn't realize till half way back to Melbourne city... ( I knowww 😒) Anyways , we did the necessary e-mailed and called the peninsulahotsprings. The customer service was fantastic , Prompt and attentive. The following day we received a call from their lost officer Catherine, that they have found the ring 💍. I was amazed that it was offered to have it posted but we did not opt for that and preferred to collect the ring personally as we wanted as well to thank the team.

It is not often to have valuables found in such a big space be it luck or not , the management and their team clearly are the representation of what 5 star service is. They effectively gave such an inquiry the seriousness needed & to execute their process in doing their best as hospitality personnels. I felt that the staff were genuinely caring , concerned and happy to have found our ring. This was the highlight-- geniunity.

Thank you peninsulahotsprings.. I hope management is reading this and to know that if there was like a 1 star rating.. nothing is wrong with the service / the team. Something was wrong with the customer 😅🤣 jokes aside , we are very grateful and we will sure to be back and with the ring left at home...

Unfortunately I am writing a public review because after over a year of reaching out to management via email and phone calls and always being promised a response, I have never heard back from anyone at Peninsula Hot Springs to address my concerns over an injury I sustained while visiting. It’s incredibly disappointing that they clearly have taken the view of - ignore her and she’ll just go away. I visited the Hot Springs in March 2023 and unfortunately cut my foot really badly on the bottom of the cold plunge pool in the adults area. My friends took me to the lifeguards who were in the area due to the severity of my cut. They sat me on a stool in their small confined area and when I informed them I felt nauseous and thought I might black out, they proceeded to make me sign something before laying me on the concrete floor in their small area while they waited for a more senior first aid person to attend. I have never received a copy of this document. Unfortunately we were waiting and waiting for the more senior person and in the end the young boy decided to bandage my foot up (clearly not properly first aid trained) and told me to take it easy. I knew he was out of his depth as he told me he hadn’t dealt with anything like this before and didn’t really know what he was doing, and I knew it was a very bad cut as there was so much blood and pain. The whole ordeal was a mess and the staff did not seemed very well educated in dealing with something like this. Eventually - after having to spend time laying on the outdoor lounge because I could only take a couple of steps at a time as I felt incredibly nauseous and unwell - we managed to get inside to the reception area to wait for a manager. Again, this was a long process of waiting. When he finally arrived, my husband asked for a refund which the manager was very reluctant to give us, but he eventually conceded. Due to the nature of the injury, I had to visit the Drs the next morning (this injury occurred on a Sunday night of a long weekend) and was told the cut was very deep and required glueing - it could not be stitched due to the location on the side of my foot. I had to have several Drs visits plus antibiotics for an infection. This injury impacted my life for the weeks and months after it took place due to the severity and location of the cut. Not once have I heard back from Peninsula Hot Springs. Not once have I received the documents requested, an apology, explanation or offer to cover the cost of my medical bills. It’s extremely disheartening and disappointing that a company as large as this shows such disregard for its customers. I live on the Peninsula now and I will never go back. I have not and will not ever recommend this place to anyone. Very, very disappointed in the lack of service or care by this company who seems to care more about profits than people. I’m not confident this review will make any difference as if they haven’t wanted to address it by now, my guess is they won’t, but it seems to be my last resort given I have tried all...

We took the kids to Peninsula Hot Springs… and we were so surprised! ⬇️ We weren’t sure if a hot springs visit would work with little ones—would they behave? Would it still feel relaxing? But honestly, it was such a great experience, and we weren’t the only ones with kids! ☀️ Most pools were the perfect depth and temperature for them to enjoy. Please make sure you don’t take young kids and babies into the hotter pools and make sure to drink a lot of water! 🌿 There was so much shade from the trees and extra shade sails as well. 🧘‍♀️ Plenty of spaces to wind down, from relaxation areas to hammocks. 🍽️ The food was spot on for kids, making it an easy, stress-free day out. 💛 And the staff? So friendly and helpful! If you’ve been hesitant about visiting with kids, don’t be—it’s a perfect family-friendly experience! Pricing: Adult: $75 | Concession: $60 | Child (3-15): $50 | Under 3s: FREE Early bird & twilight sessions available before 9am or after 6pm at reduced rates. Plan ahead & save—Towel, robe & locker hire is $25, so bring your own! ✨ Want a child-free experience? You can book treatments or upgrade to access the 16+ section. 🏕️ You can even stay overnight in their glamping tents or eco lodges! 📍 Peninsula Hot Springs, 140 Springs Ln, Fingal VIC ⏰ Open daily from 5am–11pm Have you taken the kids here yet (or visited yourself)?
