🤦‍♂️🤣 I already wrote an extensive review... I was just checking and it's not there of course... so I will a short version... 🤦‍♂️ do not go if wearing casual and exploring for the day... food was excellent, tables excellent and removal correct placings... 🤣🤦‍♂️ forget getting water, it not come to end of meal.... 🤣🤦‍♂️🍻 forget second drink, it not come untill end of meal, but at least offered a free one, after meal, fk off to the bar, refused with a 3hr drive ahead... 🤗 meals are amazing, but even veggies are extra... still yet again, the local R.S.L is half cost, better or same... 🤣🤦‍♂️ treat us forget on purpose, wearing casual, only went for wife's 6 natural oysters, she actually chews the flavor... ruined by orange, might aswell eat Orange peel... it should be option... 🤣🤦‍♂️ the steak amazing, but the little potato slice other worldly... I might return just for the potato slice... 🤣🤦‍♂️ can't even get water or another beer... a hard day exploring, lovey just wanted 12 oysters... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ then you fkn relizie... I work for Porsche and lovey, even so poor farm girl, traveling the world and business and 70 million, buy that stupid golf club... can't even romantic some lights see some green or trees... 🤣🤦‍♂️ if we come again... it won't be for dinner... can't even get water, untill end of dinner... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ we will come and buy your place... and sack all the idiots... 🥰🥰 except for that beautiful lady... she came for correct placings... like 1817... 🤦‍♂️ 4 star, like the resort I guess... foods 5 star that area... 🤣🤦‍♂️ even if have $100 million don't have your normal adventure clothes on... even it acceptable in Australia, than other cultures the world... 🤬🤦‍♂️ don't judge a book by it covers... lucky I calmed lovey down... she would so angry buy that place

ZERO STARS! Don’t waste your money! The food is rubbish, service is questionably inconsistent and WAY overpriced, this place is a joke! Natural Oysters $7 each were great, but let’s be honest, that’s pretty hard to mess up despite being now surprised they didn’t. The entree tuna ceviche $22 was completely ruined by the mushy brick of overcooked sushi rice - an abomination, Japan deserves an apology. 300g Striploin $60, was absolutely disgusting, ordered rare… I suspect it was poorly sous vide then barely touched a pan, basically no caramelisation, un-rendered fat yet overcooked, the chef should be ashamed of themself, apologise to the cow! The young lady looking after our table was lovely, unfortunately the restaurant manager did nothing to rectify the situation, gave a pathetically spineless apology and moved on. You could pick any pub from Rosebud to Sorrento and you’ll get a better meal for 1/3 of the price. SACK THE CHEF AND DO BETTER!

One of my best dining experiences, and very surprising as I was expecting a lackluster basic hotel restaurant. The location is very serene with a lovely view of the golf course and sunset. The staff were friendly and professional. The menu options seem to use locally sourced ingredients and cooked perfectly. We had the feed me package which included wood fired grilled chicken, fish and more. It was plenty of food for us (with leftovers) and spaced out nicely. Definitely try the wood fired cooked bread, it was thick like a banana bread but savoury and paired perfectly with their home made dips. Literally the best tasting bread I've ever had. The next day we had one of their wood fired pizzas for lunch which was also great. Definitely give the restaurant a shot if you're in the area or staying in the resort.

Ordered the Steak. $60. Asked for well done but unfortunately it was on the medium side. Lot's of fat, the type that doesn't break down and is inedible. Jus was tart and didn't suit the meat. The home made beer mustard tasted the same as off the shelf wholegrain mustard. For $60 all you got was the Steak. No other vegetables or sides. Just a piece of Steak that was below average. Wok tossed seasonal Greens were cut too small and swimming in a tart sauce. Didn't appear to be wok tossed at all and they weren't greens because it contained a lot of cauliflower?? The sweet potatoes were average, and presented poorly. Little squares of potato that were definitely three times cooked as on the menu as they were a little dry and tasteless. Another person on that table had the fish. It was very nice but a small portion for the price. Again, nothing else on the plate at all and you would have to buy a couple of sides at $18 each to make it a meal. Another person on our table had the chickpea gratin and she did not like it at all. Brisket was nice and we have had that before. But again, all you get is a piece of brisket on your plate on its own. Although I must point out there is a little bit of dressing up of the plates with a drizzle of sauce and a couple of cherry tomatoes. Then came the Chocolate Basque Cheesecake with Wild Berry Beetroot Cream. It was a chocolate pudding of some kind. Could not eat it. The picture tells the story. Three others on the table also had this so-called cheesecake and could not eat theirs. Overall a little disappointed. Would have been very disappointed had we had to pay full price but as Accor members it was discounted. We live nearby and would really like this place to be a great place to eat. However, time after time we have been disappointed and they do not seem to listen to feedback. On a positive note our waitress on the night was fantastic. She did a...

We went here for a nice NYE dinner, it was set menu at $85 a head, quite pricey but anyway it’s NYE. It quickly turned into a culinary massacre of R rated proportions. What an absolute shambles of a night! I honestly don’t know where to start. The Drinks took an hour to come out, despite two fellas behind the bar the dining room waiter was also making diners drinks as well, we had to ask 3 times for the kids menu and also water was not re filled through the whole night. My son accidentally smashed a wine glass, I left it in the middle of the table to see what would happen, both servers ignored it and even placed a dish of food over the broken glass 😂? The glass remained there all night, I will say they were lovely and very nice people but dropped the ball on service. The food…. Entree was ok, waited 90 minutes for our mains after that, other tables were served first despite rocking up 30 mins after we did, the mains were terrible! Fish dry , Chicken dry and some sort of chickpea gratin with leek that hadn’t been cooked properly, and an acidic sour sauce that ruined what was already a terrible dish. Nobody in that place was happy, apparently the chef is new and wasn’t coping, well… cry me a river! he had 12 tables to service when the place was at it’s busiest! roughly 20 tables for the entire night, which is nothing. I did see a young guy from the kitchen going on a break every 20 mins, maybe that was him? For such an establishment at the prestigious Moonah Links this was highly embarrassing and a balls up to end all balls ups. I could have thrown my 8 year old son in the kitchen and got a better meal, he can at least cook a nice steak. I cannot believe how bad the experience was, our whole table was laughing by the end otherwise we would have cried. You should be ashamed to offer this to paying customers,...
