We came to Pimpernel, based of a recommendation from another vineyard, and were so excited and looking forward to meeting the team and tasting the wines, but were unfortunately faced with very unfriendly unsavoury treatment from Michael. We walked in, waited patiently for assistance and when we asked if we could sit outside for the tasting he rolled his eyes and sarcastically said ‘sure’ . It wasn't difficult to find something to love amongst the range of wines. Mark made it a very personal experience with lots of anecdotes about his wines and wine making in general. The quality and style of winemaking is exceptional and we find our body’s never feel toxic after drinking it like we do with many other wines. The Pinots are my favourite but we LOVE their GSM and Shiraz too!
