I never give negative reviews to any service, but Prantha Hut has defied all odd. Sick of their lame excuses and poor service, which happened 3rd time in a row. 1st time ordered food online, paid for it. When I reached at the shop, they canceled my order without telling me, and said that 1 item was not available. I ordered 7 pranthas and 1 type was not available and they canceled entire order without letting me know. I waited for 50 mins to get my new order, which was not acceptable as I ordered online to save time. 2nd time, over the phone ordered and confirmed the orders to be ready in 30 mins Reached there 50 mins later, and order was still not ready. 3rd time, ordered online at 8pm and paid for a pick up at 8.50pm. Money got deducted. I reached at the shop at 9.15 and asked form my order. They said that no order is received. I showed them the receipt and they said I need to talk to the company whom I paid, which collected the money on their behalf. Spoke with them and after 20 mins, order was received. They said that now I need to wait for 40 mins before getting my order. An order supposed to be picked up at 8.50, was supposed to be ready 10.20. I asked them to push my order to get it quicker but they said, 40 mins is minimum and it can take longer than that. Is this the customer service we expect from them. I told them that they hv lost atleast 7 customers as we are a group who generally go there. A foul mouth...
Read moreWent on a weekday with not crowded and none waiting to this usually busy place. Order various items as per below :
Aalloo Parantha : Salted/spiced potato stuffed Indian pancakes which is absolutely stunning. You can't go wrong with em, bet on that and they ensure that it tastes beautiful, served with pickles and butter (see pics) great packing and served hot.
Chaat Papdi : Die hard Chaat Papdi fan for this entree menu item. It tasted pretty allright and they do good job on there. Recommended to eat it as soon as you get it, tastes much better...We had it in 30 minutes and it was pretty good.
Chicken Pakora : Fried strips of chicken tenders in chickpeas flour with some caraway seeds in it (think it's there) and it tastes so good, close knock off to fried chicken tenders but tastes amazing and absolutely have em hot the sooner you eat the crunchier it's in your mouth, really tasty.
Downside : we witnessed very casual service, had a feeling that staff was more interested in talking with her team members than taking my order request...Maybe one shouldn't have high expectations. I'm a big fan of friendly and genuine customer service and can make out when staff has more interested topics to giggle than look after customer.
Willing to give it go again, to support local businesses and hope to get served good. Good...
Read moreOrdered Methi Parantha, Mixed Parantha and Grilled Chicken Tikka as takeaway. Both the paranthas were really good, but the chicken didn't taste right. I initially didn't think much of it, but when my partner also felt the same, we checked the rest of the pieces. They felt sticky and some of the pieces had a greyish colour along the inner edges. That kind of confirmed for us that the chicken had gone bad. We threw away the rest of the chicken.
Our doubts turned out right the next day. Both of us suffered from mild diarrhoea. I am glad we didn't have the rest of the chicken.
Had high expectations, but eventually pretty disappointed. I really hope they'd pay more attention to...
