Lunch Hour Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

Good experiences there, & I visit fairly often. Most of the time they promptly prepare what I order. If they don't do it promptly, probably because 10 to 30 highviz guys have walked in. Very understandable.

Their ability to listen & show good genuine concern for customers...is quite good. Better than most cafes for sure.

Besides not having newspapers to read ...which I understand because of COVID, & other germs. Fair enough.

I avoid many other cafe's, but always very happy visiting LHC.

Other people's reviews about language...not very fair....I would fail quickly on other languages myself. Gotta be realistic.

Far too expensive, $9.80 for tuna & lettuce sandwich, this also also goes for the breakfast menu and coffee. You can go up the road to the shops and get a large which is double the size and cheaper and just as good if not better. Sausage rolls are home made but always seem to be burnt and again way over priced. Kransky sausage in pastry, well half a kransky which was black on each end...burnt and way overpriced. They really need to review their prices and business would...

People here are rude. We’ve been going there for 3 years and it’s really gone backwards. Are there new Chinese owners there?

Someone should explain to these people that they could at least say “Thank you” to their customers!!!! The awful coffee cost me $4.80 for a medium sized paper cup. Never going back there again.

Maccas coffee is better, costs less and is far better quality. And at Maccas you get it with a smile and a thank you. And I’m vegetarian so that says...
