Selover's Lookout is an absolute gem! We recently made a quick stop here, and it exceeded our expectations. The lookout offers breathtaking views of the dam water, which looks especially serene and picturesque against the backdrop of the mountains. The scenery is truly spectacular, with panoramic vistas that are perfect for taking photos or just enjoying a moment of peace. Even though we only spent a short time here, it was incredibly refreshing and well worth the visit. If you're passing through the area and have a few minutes to spare, Selover's Lookout is definitely worth a stop. The views alone are enough to make it a memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Selover’s Lookout is an absolute gem that offers some of the most breathtaking views you can find. Perched high, this vantage point provides a panoramic vista of the surrounding landscapes that is simply stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. The lookout is easily accessible and the short walk to reach it is pleasant, with well-maintained paths and informative signage along the way.

I world class view in a fantastic spot. The view of the damn is amazing and the forrest is beautiful beyond that. There is no ammenities here. But it’s doesn’t stop car loads of tourists stopping. A short drive to Healesville although bad tourist drivers have caused the speed limit to be dropped to a crawl.

A wonderful route in the forest of unique beauty in Maroondah Reservoir Park, with my beloved AnnΑ, with rivers, some big and some small, towering trees, which give beautiful shade to waterfalls and beautiful sounds, from different kinds of birds. Many unusual or exotic trees are found throughout the park, including the Smooth-barked Apple, Strawberry Tree, Cypress Pine, Cedar, Upright Monterey Cypress, Smooth Arizona Cypress, Spruce, Himalayan Pine, Golden Pencil Pine, Cottonwood, Douglas Fir, and Californian Redwood along with the deciduous Ash, Maple, Cannonball Tree, Birch, Liquidamber, Cork Oak, Lombardy Poplar and Elm. Many of these exotic trees were planted in the late 1920s. There are also a number of unusual palms, including the Canary Island Date Plum and Chinese Windmill Palm. After enjoying it in every sense of the word, we headed to Selover's Lookout, a great place to see the picturesque Lake Maroondah Dam and its surrounding mountain ranges. Entry for obvious reasons...
