Shepherds Bush — Attraction in Melbourne

Tranquil bushland where the Dandenong creek cuts a deep gully meandering through. Trail can be done as an extension ofJells Park or from Norton's Park which has car parking.

Walking trails in here are flat but winds upwards along the creek toward High St Rd. Not too sure if dogs on leash are allowed. You do not hear the noise of traffic but of shrieking cockatoos & other birdlife. There's a frog habitat along the baseball park. Access via Jells Park, Norton's Park or via Dandenong Creek trail at High St Rd. Part of trail is closed due to damage & is cordoned off but ppl seem to ignore this. Interesting walking experience and being not quite what I expected. It's mainly a single track adventure with bush and water crowding you in. Quiet a few varieties of bird calls around.
