Well designed parks & gardens that most folks will enjoy… In this picturesque place, there’s been lots of trees planted to provide shade & the wildlife that come here can be entertaining… There’s play areas & bbq facilities, an amphitheatre (I think that’s right?) & probably loads more… It’s a pretty big area here! Overall, I decided to give this park 4 out of 5 stars.
PS. I can’t resist adding in that it’s also got this very ominous underlying theme to it - It is very well disguised tho… But it’ll be very obvious to some of u, I think - like it was to me - because there is WAY WAY WAYYYYY more going on here, than what u just see from a glance, on the surface… Literally everything here can be seen as a symbolic gesture… But of course, it seems that most folks come here to enjoy themselves or think they’re enjoying nature or whatever, & they don’t bother to look any deeper, I guess? & that’s life right? It is these days?! So, picturesque parks in Melbourne go, this place has to be one of the best - for what it “offers” in amenities… & anyone interested in exploring this area for maybe, the symbolism that I think is related to the hashtags (listed below this review) - I recommend it & hope I see more posts on the topic!

Read moreA hidden gem. A great deal packed into a fairly small space, still it feels uncluttered. It's a wonderful and enchanting park that has deservedly won local and national design awards, one from the Keep Australia Beautiful council and one just last year from the City of Knox for excellence in the design and development of the built environment. In commending the new Sunflower Pavilion at the park on their website, Knox City Council, writing in that dreadful managerial prose style that everyone is compelled to use nowadays, still manage to rise to this - The total landscape experience of the setting is one of delight - which really isn't too bad at all. It's certainly better than this from the same page - The projects (sic) focus on sustainable infrastructure and design (passive and active) stands out as a highlight - etc. I don't know about you but I nodded off round about 'focus on...
