This place is over rated! I ordered the Thai southern style braised pork belly, Ranong Town omelette with crab meat, white rice and the Ranong town set for dessert. All three dishes didn’t taste Thai at all. In fact, it tasted like a home cooked meal typically served in a Malaysian Chinese household. The pork dish tasted like “Hong Bak” with lots of sugar in it, the omelette tasted like an omelette you would fry at home, but with a dollop of crab meat on the top of it (to make it more fancy and to justify the price) and the dessert was like assorted “kuih” that can be bought from some Malaysian restaurants at half the price. If this was a blind test, I would think it was a Malaysian restaurant instead of an authentic Thai restaurant (claimed by the restaurant). Moreover, the restaurant was packed with Malaysians (based on their accent, slangs and occasional Malay words in their conversations), instead of Thai nationals (based on my experience with other genuinely authentic Thai restaurants around Melbourne). Portion are relatively small for the dishes. However, the taste is good. I will rate this 4 stars if it was a Malaysian restaurant but since it’s an authentic Thai restaurant (claimed by the restaurant), I’ll rate this restaurant a 2 star. I’ll be back again to try the other dishes and see if my opinion changes.

A nearby appointment brought us to the doorstep and so glad it did. As it was a Monday lunch just after noon it was not busy, but other customers soon arrived, so clearly they are popular. We started with the Thai milk tea, something we had not tried before. Sweet, spicy and ice cold, it was really refreshing. We ordered two mains, the Green chicken curry and the Moo Hong - Southern style braised pork belly, with couple of served of coconut rice. The food was quick and the flavours absolutely amazing. The curry was all flvours and not masked with chilli as is sometimes the case. The pork was so soft it almost melted before our eyes. Glad we had all the rice as there was plenty of sauce in each bowl and I wasn't going to miss any of it. Look forward to coming back soon

Something went wrong with our order and we ended up waiting an hour and a half for our food. I asked a few times about our order and was told it was coming soon. I understand that they were busy, but it would have been nice of them to check the status properly as they would have realised that our ticket was missing and we wouldn't have had to wait so long. They did remediate by giving us an extra dish but I feel they could have done a bit better on the service side. Saying this, the food was absolutely top notch and I would 100% go back as it was super authentic and the quality was what you would receive at a great Thai restaurant in the city. Crab omelette, fried fish and massaman were particularly good.

Congratulations you have managed to ruin a 5 year olds birthday celebration.

We booked (the day before) for 5 people at 6.30pm Friday 18th. My wife's name and number were taken when making the booking.

On the day itself we were running slightly late but were almost there, so we tried calling them (multiple times) to try and let them know. Nobody picked up. After finally getting through the phone at 6.35pm, they first said they couldn't find our booking, then said because we were late they gave away our table to a bigger group.

Seriously, you gave our table away after 5 mins? Didn't even have the courtesy to let us know, or bother to try and help us find a solution even though we were almost there.Just told us not to bother coming as they were full.

No matter how good your food is I will never be back again to your restaurant. Plenty of other options with better customer service when it comes...
