If there was a Logies for the worst shopping centre in Melbourne Union Square would win the gold. Shopped here for 40 years (only because it is the closest Coles) and not a single renovation in that time, unless you count the brown 1970s tiles being painted grey about 30 years ago. I would choose an outdoor dunny can any day, over the ā€œfacilitiesā€ here that resemble that of a suburban footy ground at half time in the 1960s. Seen several excellent shops over the years forced out by greedy rent hikes with their premises left empty for years. However I do love the landscaped car park with its low maintenance trees and shrubs ie.dead and the bin chickens emptying the overloaded dumpsters at the back have provided many hours of mirth over the years. And because the place is so deeply unpopular there is no worries getting a park. So that’s worth at least one star.

Union Square shopping center is all about groceries. There are one medicine Parmacy and Liquor shop, one Colse store, vegetables shop and meat shop available. There are two parking places available. Not much busy place. Recommend for all to visit.

Came back a second round with a group of friends. The food is very delicious. The table and chair set up was amazing. Very attentive staff and happy to engage in a delightful conversation. Highly recommend dining in and having a meal.

While I enjoy the Coles, I think it's the public toilets, which is to service makes. It's all the way down a long narrow corridor with a sink at the end. I feel like my visions should start to curve as I walk down it, like a horror movie. When you reach the end; there is alatrine and beyond that the sit down toilet.

Within the toilet room, you are challenged while navigating the dark (no light), to hold the door shut with your foot, as there isn't any lock, no light, but if your lucky there maybe some toilet paper roll on the ground.

The management needs to be ashamed of such scary and poorly maintained facilities. Children, elderly or anyone with accessibility issues will surely be challenged by this porcelain...

Union Square has been a disaster for many years. So many people have bought business there and closed down due to the disgusting body corporate as they do not do anything for the centre. They hardly clean fix doors or toilets. Another main problem people might ask about the butcher shop why do they keep closing? Well the last person did amazing but due to the toilets blockages in the pipes this was also effecting his business as the sewerage and smell would flood from the pips in there shop. The body corporate would not fix so they left like everyone else. Good luck to rest. The Thai but shop is the best and fish and chips also the chemist besides this nothing is worth...
