Rubix Warehouse — Local services in Melbourne

Great venue with lots of variety in events andusic genres, from hardstyle, techno and trance to bass, dubstep, jungle and DnB! I know this venue also supports local upcoming talent. The only bar I know in Melbourne that makes a great effort for those not drinking alcohol with local brands like Magic Elixirs herbal drinks and Good Brew kombucha on tap! Great sound system with areas where one can escape the stimulation and have chilled chats and games in booths and comfortable seating. An amazing boiler room set up for the DJ with impressive LED screens for visuals around that seem to be movable. 2 bars both with the same standard drink range but different specialty drinks like cocktail and elixirs. Beers and alcoholic softdrinks from MoonDog on tap as well. They seem to support local brewers very well. Staff is focussed on providing excellent service to the people and seem like they actually love what they are doing! The venue feels very safe to be!

Terrible place, there was fights inside and the service was horrible. Absolutely appalled! We went Friday the 21st of June and arrived to the venue early so that we could get in because there was limited amounts of spots and then after about an hour we ask at the reception if there is pass outs and if we could go out for a cigarette and the lady at the front said there was pass outs and we can come back in so we go outside had a cigarette and then line up for 25 minutes and as we are about to get let back in a lady yells that there is no more pass outs and we explained what happened how we wouldn’t of left if there were no pass outs and they said we would have to pay $20 each to be able to get back in! We were looking forward to tonight for about two weeks to celebrate my friends birthday and this is how we get treated!
